About this Garden Theatre Performance
This Garden Theatre performance will be an essential guide on how to keep your head in the Tudor Court (whilst others around you are losing theirs). Don’t miss this mad-capped take on the astonishing life of King Henry VIII..
The Three Inch Fools present Britain’s most infamous monarch. Our troupe of four hit the road with this brand new production of kings, courtship and calamity…the Tudor way.
Unexpectedly thrust into the limelight after the death of his older brother, little Henry must learn to navigate the ups and downs of courtly life, and all whilst fighting the French and re-writing religion. Henry can’t catch a break, as he struggles to find the right wife and his ultimate dream of having a son seems out of reach.

About The Three Inch Fools
The Three Inch Fools was founded in Cumbria by brothers James and Stephen Hyde. In 2015 they embarked upon their first adventure - Shakespeare’s The Tempest, performed by a cast of 10 actors, on the road for just two weeks. The idea was simple - staging a production that was inventive, fast-paced, and used music to bring to life Shakespeare’s timeless stories. Since then their adventure has grown!
