About The Three Inch Fools
The Three Inch Fools was founded in Cumbria by brothers James and Stephen Hyde. In 2015 they embarked upon their first adventure - Shakespeare’s The Tempest, performed by a cast of 10 actors, on the road for just two weeks. The idea was simple - staging a production that was inventive, fast-paced, and used music to bring to life Shakespeare’s timeless stories. Since then their adventure has grown!

Shades of Simon are a 5-piece band based in mid-Essex who are growing rapidly in popularity with their acclaimed 2 hour theatre show in tribute to Paul Simon as one of the best songwriters and performers of his generation. The band are bringing their show “The Paul Simon Story” to Knebworth Gardens on 5th July, 2025 performing some of Paul Simon and Simon & Garfunkel’s most beloved records.
Gates will open at 6.30pm, allowing the audience to get into position and enjoy a drink before the performance begins at 7.30pm. Bring a picnic, chairs and blankets to enjoy this open air performance in style on the Sunken Lawn of Knebworth House.

Band Leader Colin Davies commented -
“Paul Simon wrote some really melodic songs early in his career whilst in Simon & Garfunkel and we perform those in the first half of our show. We try to add variety; some songs like the classic ‘Old Friends’, we perform as a duo with just an acoustic guitar featuring Colin and fellow frontman Paul Bleach, whereas others, like ‘Kodachrome’ benefit from a full 5-piece band arrangement”.
